Hi,

Thank you for your question and for letting me assist you with your repair.

If you remove the transition panel there will be screws you can remove to slide the top forward. This will give you access to the top of the washer. If you need to remove the front panel, just slide it up and out of the way, leave the top on so the washer can be operated.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance please include more details in a reply to this entry below.
Thank you for using Manage My Life.

Bill_W I checked the hose between the siphon valve and the washer as suggested and it seems to be open. Does this suggest that the siphon valve has failed or is it possibly just stuck, since the machine has been sitting out of service for some time. Thanks, Bill

If the siphon is leaking replace it and check the hose to the break and to the tub ring if it has been sitting out for a while.

I removed the siphon and hose to the tub and found no restriction. The hose which feeds the siphon flows strong when bypassing the siphon. I can't see anything wrong with the siphon since there are no moving parts. Is it possible that the water pressure is too high resulting in more flow than the siphon can handle? Bill

Possible but the siphon is just that , it is an air break in the lines so water will not siphon through. it is most likely having a clog or restriction in the outlet side.

There was a slight residue of calcium in the venturi. I soaked it in vinegar and scraped it with a dental pick. That seems to have solved the problem. Thanks Can you tell me how to adjust the rear legs on the machine, as by the time that I slide it back into place, the left rear leg ends up too high causing it to rock.
