Question and Answers

Q:

Will no longer spin, it tries to but just can't get going LSR8010PQ2 Whirlpool Residential washers

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I will be happy to help with your washer. Upon researching model LSR8010PQ2; the first thing to check is the motor coupling. If the coupling is worn or stretched it won’t turn the gear case sufficiently.  If the coupling is ok then it could be the motor is wearing out or the gear case is worn out. I linked the diagram below. The coupling is number 13 and the gear case is number 9.

Thank you for choosing Sears. Have a great day.
