overfills. LSR7333PQ4 Whirlpool Residential washers

A:

Thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect. I will be more than happy to assist you with your whirlpool washer.

From the information you have provided above, I can understand the frustration of having your washer malfunction, after researching model number LSR7333PQ4. From the sounds of it, it seems as if the water valve may not be shutting properly. the inlet valve is what allows the water to flow into the machine. the valve may be staying open and causing the machine to keep filling causing it to overflow. I would suggest checking into the valve. the part# is 285805. Below I have linked some information on how to text the valve.

From what you're describing I suspect the clutch is slipping, preventing the basket from spinning up to full speed. Another possibility is the timer. If the motor runs on both hi and low cycles, I suspect the clutch needs to be replaced. If the motor sounds the same on both speeds I recommend checking the motor switch for stuck contacts or replace the timer if the motor checks good.

Low spin works but the clothes still have lots of water in them so they are taking forever to dry. The motor sounds the same with the knob is on high spin and low spin. Does the clutch need to be changed when the low spin is working but the high spin is not. Does the motor coupler have any thing to do with this issue. How do I check the motor switch for stuck contacts. I don't think it is the timer because everything else is working perfectly.
