Thank You for contacting ManageMyLife.com

I understand your concern with the washer making a noise with the tub slows down. The clunking noise you're describing, down it sound like the tub is hitting the side walls? If so, this can be a result of residue on the brake drum. Please let me know.

I look forward to working with you.

Q:

whirpool washing machine model#LSR7133KQ1jerks to a complete stop after spin cycle is complete LSR7133KQ1

A:

I know that it can be very difficult to have issues with your washer. When a unit like this begins to stop hard at the end of a cycle it most likely means that a mechanical part is failing. The ones that you will need to check are the brake/drive tube, the clutch, and the gearcase. These are the three parts that the washer uses to agitate and spin. This video will provide the directions on how to access the clutch: Clutch Repair. You will need to remove the brake in order to get to it, so it will show you this as well. If both of these parts are okay, then the problem will most likely be the gearcase. This however, can be one of the most expensive parts, so you may want to consider purchasing a new machine. If you don't feel comfortable doing this yourself, please click on this link to schedule service: Sears Home Services. Click on "Get Started" and follow the directions, click on the red "NEXT" button to continue. I hope this helps. Please feel free to let me know if you need further assistance. We are always here to help. Thank you for using Manage My Life.com.

Thank you for contacting SearsPartsDirect.com with your question about the capacity of your Whirlpool Washer. I will be happy to help you with this. Your washer has a 3.2 cubic foot tub, which is considered a Super Capacity model. I have included the link for the manufacturer's Owner's Manual for your model. Page three of the manual will give you guide lines of how much clothes consists of a super capacity load. For example a load of towels in a Super Capacity can consist of 10 bath towels, 10 hand towels, 14 washcloths and 1 bath mat.

Owner's Manual for Whirlpool Washer model LSR7133KQ1.

To help maintain your washer, I recommend using Washer Magic periodically. It will remove soap scum and mineral deposits from the tub, pump and drain and will improve the efficiency of the washer. I have included that link for you also.

Washer Magic.

If you have additional questions or I can be of further assistance, please respond to this thread. Thank you for choosing Sears, we appreciate your business.
