Hi Gene,

Thank you for submitting a question to Manage My Life.

You do not mention where the buzzing sound is coming from or what the washer is supposed to be doing when it is buzzing. If the washer is supposed to be filling this could be an issue with the fill valves. If the washer is supposed to be agitating or spinning this could be a motor issue or wiring problem. The diagnosis of this issue will require the use of a volt/ohm meter. If you have a meter and are confident in your technical abilities please reply below and I will be happy to assist you further.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website; Sears Home Services .

Here is a link that you may use to view the parts list diagram or purchase any parts needed for your Whirlpool model number LSQ9660PW0 washer .

If you would like specific help with this issue, please include more details in a reply to this post.
