Thanks for contacting manage my life about your washer, the model number you provided LSQ96OOLWO, does not seem to be correct. I am unable to provide the requested information without the complete model number off the washer. I must be able to verify the washer components to insure that I respond accurately. Please reply with the complete model number off the washer and a description of the issue and I will be happy to respond.  If you get to the point where you need to have a service technician diagnose and repair this failure, you can schedule service through this link: Sears Home Services.Ron H.

Hi Ron, I had an online conversation w/ Eric R, a Sears site manager, on Model #. Letters are so small I couldn't tell if 3rd letter was Q or O (LSQ9600lWO or LSO9600LWO). He replied "Eric R: Ok, it is a Q in your model number, and an L is the letter from the 3rd last digit, I believe the last digit is a zero, so you model number is LSQ9600LW0." Is that not correct. If so, does that affect the part number that's needed to replace it?

Q:

Where can I get a parts diagram to view of my Whirlpool washing machine parts?

A:

You will need to place the console in the service position in order to access the lid switch harness and cabinet clips. Disconnect the lid switch harness and pop the gold colored cabinet clips off. Tilt the cabinet forward and pull it away from the washer. Remove the agitator, pump and motor and the 3 gear case mounting bolts. Lean the washer against the wall so you will have enough clearance to pull the gear case down and out.

You can also view parts at Sears Parts Direct. I added a link below. Click on "Browse subcomponents" to open link.
