Question and Answers

Q:

What parts do I need if my washer will not spin but it will agitate?

A:

I do not have enough details to know if the motor is operating during spin or not. I can't be certain what parts are needed with out additional details and then I can't be for certain what it may need.

If the motor is running during the spin cycle then the likely failure is the clutch or a broken brake release lever on the basket drive or even possibly a gear case failure. What happens if you raise and lower the washer lid when after it has pumped the water out? It begins to spin then it could be timer issue.

I recommend calling a service technician to diagnose and repair your washer or resubmit your question with additional details for further assistance.
