Q:

9/22/11 Re: Maytag Resiential Stacked Washer/Gas Dryer/Model No. LSG 1000 Q: How to replace lightbulb

A:

The light bulbs can be hard to find in appliances today. A suggestion I have to help the expert provide a better answer is to add the full model number to this thread. The expert will review and respond within 24-48 hours if not sooner. With the model, you can also check the schematics at Sears Parts Direct for a better view of the parts.

A:

To access the light bulb you will need to remove the front panel of the washer. Remember to unplug the unit first.

The front panel can be removed by removing the two screws on the bottom corners of the front panel.

The images below may be helpful to you.

I hope this helps.

The 31001575 bulb can be obtained from the following link: Sears PartsDirect .

You can reply with any additional details or questions for further assistance.
