Question and Answers

Q:

washer fills but nothing after that LSE7804ACM Maytag Maytag stack laundry

A:

Thank You for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com. I regret to hear that you are having issues with your washer and do understand your frustration. Glad to help out. Im looking at your model number LSE7804ACM and you may want to test the lid switch and or the timer. It is possible that the lid switch is damaged or the strike is not making the proper contact. The washer will also have that sypmtom if the timer is bad. If you pull and turn the knob a click each time until the washer works or the cycle ends and the machine never started the cycle, the timer is damaged.

Thank you for your question.

I am sorry you are having a problem with the washer. I have looked up the model number you have submitted. I tried to find an image of the old and new pressure switch. I think I found an image of the new switch. I also found a chart that says where the wires should connect. I have posted an image below of the switch and the chart. Click on the image to enlarge it. If the image does not look like the switch you have please reply below with a picture of the backside of the switch so I can see the difference in the two.

I hope this is helpful.

Thank you for using Manage my life.
