Question and Answers

Q:

Washer fills with water wont rinse or spin on any cycle LSB6300PW1 Whirlpool Residential washer

Q:

How do I get into or open the cabinet on a Whirlpool model LSB6300PW1 to replace part LSB6300PW1

A:

Thank you for choosing sears I would be happy to help you with your washer. Upon researching modelLSB6300PW1;

1.      Unplug washer power cord. The control panel is secured by screws in the  front or back of the panel, some of this models have trim pieces on each side of the control panel witch you have to lift or pull off to access the screws. Remove the screws that secure the control panel.

2.      Once you have removed the screws securing the control panel, you can lift up the control panel and let it rest on the back of the unit. You can now unplug the lid switch connections and unclip the retainers that secure the top to the rest of the unit.

3.      Open the lid and grab the washer body from opening while you secure the body of the unit against your foot and pull the washer body off the rear panel. The entire washer body will come off leaving the washer insides out of the cabinet and you will now have access to the washer insides.

I trust this information will help you, have a great day.
