I show this to be a 1995 model which will put it a little older than 12 years. It is old enough so that not all service information will be available.

From the description you give the dryer has power but will not run the motor at all.

If the door switch is okay then that would leave the timer and motor as the other two suspects. The only way to know for sure if it's the motor or timer is with a meter.

The motor is close to $120 dollars while the time is about $100 dollars.

With a service call and repair the cost would be close to $250 dollars.

The timer might be a good do-it-yourself but I would suggest the motor as a do-it-yourself project.

It may be time to at least shop around and see what is available. New dryers will start about $332 dollars. You can view dryers at the following link: New Dryers .

I hope this helps. You can reply with any additional details or questions for further assistance.
