Q:

What kind of screws do I need for the TV base I just purchased from Sears PartsDirect LN52A650A1FXZA Samsung Lcd television

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for being a valued member.

The stand screws are spec BH,+,M4,L16,ZPC from Samsung and are part number 6002-001294. They are being offered as an 8-pack on Sears Parts, but the stand should only require 4.

For convenience, I have linked the screw pack below. Just click on the link to be directed to the Sears Parts site to view and purchase when needed.

Working on a TV can be difficult and dangerous due to the high voltage circuits inside. Always remember to unplug any TV before trying to service it and if unsure of the proper procedures, seek the service of a trained professional.

Hello Weifeng,

I'm sorry to hear that your television has malfunctioned and I would like to assist you. if it is mounted in the middle of the panel, up high in the back or the television, it is the T-Con board that is malfunctioning.  There are several different versions of you television and in order to attempt to get the correct part number the version needs to be determined.  It is on the label on the back of the television where the model number is located and will look something like SQ01 or 0002.  Reply with this code and I will be able to look up the correct part number for you.

I look forward to assisting you further.

The repair cost would depend on the parts needed. When the TV is turned on does the screen go form black to a gray tint? If so then the part could be the main board. If the screen does not turn gray then the problem could be the LCD panel. For a technician to come out and diagnose the TV would be about $100 and a total repair would start about $350 and go up from there depending on parts needed.
