TV won't turn on

When the on button does not work on the TV most of us are left feeling a bit helpless. I found a similar question from the expert posts and attached that answer below. Each model may have a different solution so if you can add the entire model number to this thread it may help the expert provide a better answer. I also attached the Samsung support site which can be very helpful in finding answers. I hope some of this information has you able to catch the new shows and sporting events soon.

I would first make sure you have power to the new plug. Is any light on the front of the TV when you plug it in? When you first plug it in do you here a couple of click sounds? If the answer is not then try a different plug and check the same things. Let me know the outcome and I will get you more information. Also, the model number should start with a couple of letters then a couple of number another letter a few more numbers and then an assortment of numbers and letters. Please include the complete model number when responding.

Dusty, There is no click or any light on the front of the TV. I have tried 3 different outlets with no results. The model number is LN40C530F1FXZA. Appreciate any guidance you can provide.

I tried looking to see if yoI tried looking to see if your TV has a master power switch on the back somewhere, but not seeing one. You can look on the back and see if it might have a master power switch. If it does have one then that could be the problem it not, then it seems like something happened to the power supply.
