A:

The first thing to do is confirm that the blower is working. Pull the dryer out and remove the vent hose. While the dryer runs there should be a strong force of air blowing from the exhaust.

No air would indicate the blower wheel is broken.

Even broken belts not prevent the blower wheel from turning.

If there is no air blowing then it is likely the thermal fuse blew and there would be no heat.
