Dryer not getting hot LE6150XSW1 Whirlpool Residential dryer

Hello glad to help.  Thank You for choosing Sears

I am sorry and do understand your frustration when there is problems with the dryer.

Glad to help out.   Im  looking at your Whirlpool model number le6150xsw1.

In helping with your dryer.  The first thing to let everyone know is that they must first check there lint screen.  Pull it out and make sure the vent the screen goes into is not plugged.   Next check the vent area where it goes outside the house.   A dryer has to have a free movement of air to prevent heating problems and fire hazzards.

I have a few items to check out and would do so in the order that I give.   All can be checked with an ohm meter for their continuity flowing through.
1.  Door/lid switch
2.  Thermal fuse (located behind the blower)
3.  Thermostat (located behind the blower)
4.  Thermal cut-off which is the 2 thermostats on heater.
If you have further questions please let me know.
Thanks for choosing Sears
