I can understand how this would be a very difficult problem to have with the dryer. There are several components that can cause this to happen to a dryer. These include the thermostats, the thermal fuse, the ignitor, or the coils themselves. You will need to disassemble the dryer and test the component to find the issue. For this you will need an Ohm/Volt meter, and you will be checking for 120 volts continuity to all of the components. This is a live voltage test, so if you don't feel comfortable doing this I would recommend that you schedule service. If you need further assistance, please reply to this thread.
