Question and Answers

Q:

my washer does not drain or spin. I have check lid switch. is it the timer LAT9205AAE Maytag Maytag laundry

A:

Thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com and being a valued member.  I can certainly understand how frustrating it can be when your washer does not drain or spin.

I recommend checking to make sure the belt is still intact in your washer.
211125 is the replacement part number. If that is still instact then the next part would be your timer or pump.

You can also visit searpartsdirect.com for parts, diagrams, and repair information.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

Thank you for your question. Have a great day.

A:

When the fuse blows it usually indicates a problem with the lid switch assembly. You will want to replace the lid switch assembly and the fuse at the same time. The 22001682 lid switch assembly can be obtained from the following link: Lid Switch Assembly .

Why does my Maytag washer model #LAT9205AAE does not go through all the cycles?

With the information that was provided it sounds like you might be having an internal problem with your timer if your only having problems occasionally.

I suggest scheduling service at 1-800-469-4663 to have an expert technician diagnose your washer.
