Thank you for submitting your question, I can understand your concern. I will be glad to assist you today. Something like this is usually caused by a restricted or defective water valve. I would recommend removing the hot water hose off of the washer & cleaning the water valve screen. You will need to shut the water supply to do this. If you need additional assistance, please reply back to the thread below. Thank you for choosing Manage My Life.com.

The image below may help you with this problem.

One thing you do not make clear is how you stop the water from coming into the tub. If you turn the water off or even unplug it but water keeps filling then the problem will be with the water valve.

If you turn the timer off and it stops filling then most likely the problem is with the water level switch.

Drain all the water out and access the water level switch and hose. One thing that might cause this problem is a kink or hole in the plastic tube attached to the water level switch. With the water drained out try removing the hose and blowing through it. If you can blow through it then it should be okay. You can then reattach the switch and try it again.

The 208201 pressure switch is available from the following site: Sears PartsDirect .

The 2nd image will show how to access the pressure switch. Remember to unplug the washer first.
