Hi Vernal,

Thank you for submitting a question to Manage My Life.

I know how frustrating it can be when appliances do not function properly.

If the belt turns the pump and the washer is not draining, you either have a bad pump or a restriction in the drain lines. This washer will not achieve high speed spin with water in the tub. I recommend checking the drain system for clogs or possibly a bad pump.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.

Hi Vernal,

Thank you for submitting a question to Manage My Life.

I am sorry you are having problems with your washer.

Most likely you have bad inlet valves. The diagnosis of this issue will require the use of an ohm/volt meter and you will have to perform ohm checks and/or live voltage checks. If you have an ohm/volt meter and are confident in your technical abilities, please reply below and I will be happy to give you the checks.

Hi Vernal, You will need to check voltage to the inlet valves during the fill. We no longer have a wiring diagram for this model. The inlet valves can be accessed at the back of the washer inside a small cover. Each valve will have 2 wires, you will check across the wires for 120vac. If you have voltage to the valve, replace the valve. If no voltage, check the wiring back to the timer, if the wiring is good you most likely have a bad timer. I have included a link below that you may use to view the parts list diagram and for parts purchases. I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post. Thanks again for using Manage My Life. Landell
