Question and Answers

Q:

Dishwasher Trouble

A:

No response from the dishwasher makes diagnosis difficult for the homeowner. The expert will review to respond, but I did locate a similar question if you would like to check. The link is below. If you prefer to have a technician visit to help, the Sears Home Services scheduler below can help set that up.

Thanks for the inquiry about your Kitchenaid dishwasher not coming on. I will be glad to help.
I see that Barbara has provided a previous answer for Expert Fred that is very common to your model as well. i suggest you follow his lead and test the thermal fuse. I would also suggest checking the door switch as it can cause the same failure. When the door is latched the door switch activates power to the control. Just a simple by-pass of this door switch will test. Always disconnect power supply to appliance before servicing and wear proper safety equipment when testing live voltage I hope these tips help, should you need additional help reply with more details.

Thanks Ron H.
