Question and Answers

Q:

A:

The dishwasher is the most covenant appliance in the home by far, having the dishwasher not working and seeing the dishes piling up can be a frustrating ordeal. I have found a some helpful information, the first link is an expert providing general information on the possible issues on the dishwasher. I also add the Owner's Manual it always comes in handy when you are wanting specific information on your dishwasher.

Thank you for your question.

I am sorry you are having a problem with the dishwasher. If the lights on the console were flashing that indicates a stuck button on the console. There is a test that you can do to verify the control is fine. To do the check you need to access the main control board. First, turn the power off to the dishwasher then use the instruction in the first image below. Follow the instructions in the first column in the second image. If the drain motor runs, the control is fine, you need to replace the console. The console can be ordered from our parts website: Sears Parts Direct .

The consoles listed on the part are for different colors. You just have to select the color you need.

Please let me know if you need further assistance.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

Thank you for using Manage my life.
