Q:

my dishwasher stopped mid cycle

A:

Having a dishwasher in the home is very important now a days, we have become so dependent on the appliance. I have found a few links that might help you along with your issue. The first link is the Owner's Manual and the second is a link where an expert provides specific information upon the fuse you were speaking of. I hope that you find this information helpful and useful as well.

If the dishwasher is completely dead with no lights or display then the most likely culprit is the thermal fuse/bimetal.

It is located in the console on the main control. The images below should help. Remember to turn the power to the dishwasher off first.

The W10258275 fuse/bimetal can be obtained from the following link: Sears PartsDirect .

Thanks for the question. You can get started and if you have any additional details or question you can send a reply for further assistance.
