Thank you for your question.  I am sorry you are having a problem with your KitchenAid KUDSO1dlss6 dishwasher

Caution:  Before attempting any repair, please turn the power to the dishwasher off first.

The heating circuit consists of the control board/relay, the high limit thermost and the element.  The electronic control would be the most expensive part.  Each can be replaced as a do-it-yourself project if you have a few basic tools.  You can also have the problem repaired in your home by a Sears technician.  Here is the link:  Sears Home Services Dishwasher repair.

In the image below are the instructions to enter and run a diagnostic test.  Try this and see if it clears the problem tempoarially.  The main cause of the clean light flashing is no water heat.  Besides the parts mentioned the problem can be caused by excessive suds or a drain/siphon problem.

I hope this helps.  You can reply below with any additional detaild for further assistance.

Hi John,

Thank you for submitting a question to Manage My Life.

The first link that James gave you above is to a similar dishwasher with the same problem. First, I recommend checking the things I included in my answer at that link. Additionally here is a video that demonstrates gaining access to the components in the sump on a dishwasher like yours; Video . Always unplug or de-energize electrical equipment before removing covers or attempting service. Be careful and wear appropriate hand protection when working around sharp metal parts. The dishwasher in this video may not look exactly like yours but the procedure is basically the same.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website; Sears Home Services .

Here is a link that you may use to view the parts list diagram or purchase any parts needed for your Kitchenaid model number KUDS01DLSS6 dishwasher .

I hope this is helpful. Check the things I have covered here and if I may be of further assistance please reply to this post.
