Q:

Top Cycle Selections KUDS01DJSS0 Kitchenaid Dishwasher

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I will be more than happy to help with your dishwasher. Upon researching model KUDS01DJSS0; it sounds like the control panel may need to be replaced. The control panel has all the buttons on it and it tells the control board what buttons you are selecting, so when it fails it can causing some of the buttons to become unresponsive while other buttons work just fine. The stainless steel control panel is the only control panel available all the other colors have been discontinued by the manufacture of this product. I have posted a link of the control panel to view the link click here.

I trust this information will help you, we appreciate your business thank for choosing Sears.

Q:

Why is my Kitchen Aid dishwasher very loud during the wash cycle?

A:

From what you’re describing it sounds like something is lodged in the wash pump assembly. You can disassemble the wash pump & check for the source of the noise by removing the upper section of the pump. When you removed the lower panel something may have been vibrating. Please see the images provided that explain access to the pump assembly & other service information.
