I know that it can be very frustrating to have issues with your dishwasher. There are two components that will have this type of affect on the dishwasher. It is either the heating element or the control board that is causing this. During the sensing/filling stage, the water need to be at a certain temperature, between 120 to 150 degrees. If it is not, then the heating element is kicked on to heat the water. If the element is over heating, the dishwasher will not run. It is also possible that the control board is over heating and causing the issue. I would suggest you test the heating element first. You will need an Ohm meter and the proper reading is between 10-35 ohms. If it is above or below this level, you need to replace the element. If is not, then replace the control board.
