Question and Answers

Q:

What is causing a grinding noise while my dishwasher is washing?

A:

I added several images below to use as a guide. The noise is likely caused by a small hard object in the chopper blade assembly area (key#8). In order to access that area the lower spray arm and accumulator (key#1) will need to be removed. Remove key#8 after removing the key#1 and you will likely find the cause of the grinding noise.

i have already taken apart everything inside the cabinet looking for loose objects, and found nothing, i looked at the chopper and its clean as a whistle, sounds like the noise is coming from underneath machine, its like a higher pitch whirring sound. ???
