Question and Answers

washer won't drain KUDE60FVBL3 Kitchenaid Undercounter dishwasher

Thank you for your inquiry on your Kitchenaid Dishwasher, Model: KUDE60FVBL3. From reviewing the detail on your model, there could one of many places where water could be restricted from draining properly. It could have a restriction where the drain hose is attached under the sink or at the check valve at the exit end of the drain pump or possibly down in the sump area. I suggest checking for a restriction at the end of the drain hose where it connects under the sink and inside the fitting on the disposal or drain pipe. If there are no restrictions then you will need to remove the dishwasher in order to access the drain pump. It appears the inlet cover will snap off if you don't see any screws securing it down.If you don't find a restriction at the end of the drain hose and you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears’s technician.

Safety Warning: Before beginning the repair, disconnect the direct power supply to the dishwasher to prevent the risk of injury or any electrical shock.

Caution: Contents inside the washer unit could have sharp edges. Make sure you wear protective gloves during the repair.

If you don’t feel comfortable or confident in this repair, then you can have it repaired at home by a sears technician. I have the included a link to the website: Sears Home Services or call 1-800-469-4663.

I hope this answered your question. Thank you for contacting, and have yourself a wonderful day.
