Rachel, Step 13 says that the 1/8" female terminals are supposed to be supplied. However, they were not supplied in my shipment. How can I get these sent to me? Thanks, Robert

Thank you for your response and the additional information. I am so sorry parts were missing from the motor. In this case please contact our Customer Service department. Since the terminals were missing from the box, our customer service advisor will assist you with getting the missing parts sent to you. Please call 1-800-366-7278.

Because the terminals are supposed to be included with the motor, I do not have a separate part number for them that I can provide you. If necessary, our customer service department can submit a research to the manufacturer to locate the correct part. Once the research is completed, you will be contacted directly and the parts will be shipped to you. For your privacy that is not a service we provide in this public forum. That is why it is important you contact our Customer Service department.

I hope this information helps. Thank you again for choosing Sears.

Thanks for the inquiry about the compactor not starting, I will be glad to assist with this.
Determining what parts are needed to repair your compactor will require that the unit be inspected and components tested. There are nine switches inside the compactor that must operate in sequence. Each switch and wiring will need to be inspected to determine the cause of this problem.
If you feel confident in your technical ability and have a good understanding of electrical circuits, and have a good volt ohm meter I have provided a wiring diagram below for your use. Also included is a troubleshooting guide.
I hope this helps, should you need additional assistance please reply with added details and I will be happy to respond.

Thanks Ron H.
If you get to the point where you need to have a service technician diagnose and repair this failure, you can schedule service through this link: Sears Home Services .
