Thank you for submitting your question. I understand concern and I will be happy to assist you. If the water is trickling in after replacing the filter, this mean the system needs to be purged. You'll need to dispenser 1-2 gallons of water from the dispenser to push out any air bubbles and impurities from the filter. It may take some time but after a while you'll get a steady stream of water. This can take anywhere from 10-30 minutes. I hope this helps. Thank you Tykara for you thoughtful reply. I have installed the filter in a fashion that I can purge the filter and also put the filter in a bypass mode using a system of control valves (I'm an engineer :-) The filter has been purged. The problem came on suddenly independent of a filter change event. What else may it be?
