Question and Answers

How can I fix bad tasting ice cubes?

Ice cubes can absorb odors from the refrigerator, which will cause a bad taste. This is actually quite common. What happens is, the air circulating through the refrigerator gets blown directly over the ice. Any and all odors from the products, is picked up in the air stream and gets blown directly on the ice cubes. To prevent this, the ice needs to be used at a faster rate or removed, if not used fast enough. By cleaning the complete inside cavity with some warm water and a mild detergent periodically and removing any stale food and making sure all containers and wrappings are sealed tight will also help. If you need more assistance, please resubmit your question, with additional details.
