Question and Answers

Q:

Why does the ice freeze together?

A:

It's normal for ice to fuse (freeze) together. This process will happen much faster with this bucket style. Unless you use a lot of ice to keep it moving this will be normal. The reason it happens faster with this style is because with the bucket in the door, every time the door is opened, the bucket is out of the freezer.

The cover will pop off by inserting a small screwdriver under the bottom and prying it outward.
