The control panel is located at the top in the refrigerator section. I'm sending a picture of the control panel and parts. I hope this will help you.

Now, it is normal for the center divider to get hot at times. It will get hot, if it has to run for a longer period of time than normal, to cool down. If a load of food is placed inside, this can happen. As soon as it starts cooling back down, the center divider will also cool down. The reason for this is because there is a hot gas line that runs between the doors and it can get very hot. This line is part of the seal system and the longer the compressor runs the hotter it gets. Sometimes just adjusting the control to a warmer setting will help with this condition.

There are a couple of other reasons that can also cause it to get hot and that would be if, the condenser coil got clogged up or if the condenser motor quit running. This is the motor behind the unit, next to the compressor. Check the coil and motor. If they are ok, it will most likely be from the compressor running longer then normal, to cool it back down. If you would like more assistance, additional details will be needed.

Thank you Scott D: That was very helpful. We moved the refrigerator from one house to another last week. There was minimal food placed inside and the refrigerator side seemed a tad warmer than expected, but the freezer side was fine. The center divider was REALLY hot and so were the seals, also the side of the fridge on the freezer side was hot. My idea was that the automatic defrost mechanism was either damaged from the move or was switched or jammed "on" and needed to be replaced or "unstuck". I took the back off and checked the fan and it was running, also I cleaned the coils. The unit is unplugged and all food has been removed for the last two days. I will start her back up and see if the problem has been resolved. Thanks for you wonderful help.
