Hello glad to help.  Thank You for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com

I am sorry and do understand your frustration when you are having trouble with the water system freezing the lines.

You need to replace the water valve.  After you replace the valve cut one of the flaps off the box that it comes in.  Then place that piece of cardboard on the right hand side of the vent that sits behind the ice maker.  It is known that keeping air from blowing directly on the inlet tube also helps prevnt it from freezing.  Also make sure you are changing the water filter in a timely manner.

Thank you for your question. I'm sorry you're having this problem with the fridge. A good check will be to turn the fridge control from the warmest to the coldest setting and watch to see if the damper moves. If the damper does move, the control # 2161460 will need to be replaced. If the damper does not move, the air diffuser # 2209751 will need to be replaced. These parts are available at http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/part-model/Kitchenaid-Parts/Refrigerator-Parts/Model-KSRB25FKSS03/0593/0165000?pathTaken=&prst=0&shdMod=KSRB25FKSS03&sid=MMLxexpertxmerch . I hope this will help you. If you would like more assistance, reply to this thread and I will be glad to assist you further.

Q:

How do I determine if my refrigerator has a bad thermostat or a bad motorized damper?

A:

I'm sending you a diagnostic test for the baffle. If the damper does not respond to this test, further checks will need to be done with a volt/ohm meter to determine the problem. Be very careful while making these checks. Set the refrigerator control to colder (far right) and check voltage at the damper from Bk/Yl to white for 120 volts. If this voltage is there, the diffuser will need to be replaced. If there is no voltage present then the thermostat will need to be replaced. When making this voltage check, do not disconnect any wire connections. All wire connectors must remain connected. If you don't feel comfortable making these types of checks, a technician will be needed. If you need more assistance, you can resubmit your question with more details.

I have a Kitchenaid side by side frig Model # KSRB25FKSS03. The freezer side works fine but the frig. side is warm. I checked the evaporator fan which is working fine. I was able to force the "flaps" of the damper open but then it closed up again. What part or parts should I order?
