Q:

Replacing Augur Drum on ice maker KSRB25FHSS02 Kitchenaid Side by side refrigerator

A:

Thank you for choosing Searspartsdirect.com and being a valued member. I can certainly assist you in locating the instructions to remove the ice drum.

Video: Replacing Ice Bin Auger Drum .

To remove the front cover, it appears that you need to remove the screws in the parts drawing at the bottom of image that secure the front cover  to the ice bucket. With this cover removed, you should be able to access the retainer ring and the washer on the front of the auger. You will likely need to remove all of the parts off of the auger to access the drum .

Q:

FILTER IS STUCK - I HAVE CHANGED IT OFTEN - MAY I USE A TOOL TO GRASP IT MORE FIRM KSRB25FHSS02 Kitchenaid Side by side refrigerator

A:

Thank You for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com. I regret to hear that you are having issues with your fridge and do understand your frustration. Glad to help out. Im looking at your model number KSRB25FHSS02 and the filter has a couple of o'rings on the tip and it is possible that they expanded a bit or have a bit of build up. You can use a tool to grip the edge a little better wiggling around gently and pulling on it gently. Make sure you have turned the filter the correct way to enble the release of the filter. If you have further questions please resubmit your question for further information.
