 To remove the maintop, remove the burner caps, grates, and burner knobs. Disassembly:
 
Remove the control knobs
 
Remove the screws securing the burner bowls to the burner.
 
Remove the electrode wires from the electrodes.
 
For glass top- Lift glass off the appliance
 
For porcelain top- Life up to top (hinged rear)
 
Spark module is mounted to the burner box. Located in the rear right or left corner.
