Thank you for your question.  I see Marc has provided a video that may help with this repair.  Televisions contain high voltage.  I do recommend having a service center make the necessary diagnosis and repairs to your Sony. The thermal fuse I think you are talking about is not for you model. The 6 blink error for your model is typically an issue with the power supply.

Note: Working on a TV can be difficult due to the high voltage circuits inside. Always remember to unplug any TV before trying to work on it.

The problem is most likely the DIC Block inside the TV not the lamp. The DIC Block part number is A1605853A. The DIC block is a curtail part of the TV and one of the most expensive parts. The repairs would cost about $900 or more depending on the price of the part.
