I'm sorry that you are having problems with the cooktop. I know that this can be very frustrating. The problem that you are describing is an issue with the indicator light wiring. However, this is not something that you can replace, because the part for this problem is no longer available. This means that KitchenAid has stopped producing it. The problem with this wiring should not have any affect on the function of the burners, so you can continue to use them.

Thanks for the reply. I have now discovered that not only will the LED light not go off, but now the largest burner will not turn on. Is that something that can be replaced and is it even worth replacing in comparison to purchasing a new one?
