Q:

How can I correct the temperature for my Kitchen Aid oven?

A:

You can manually raise or lower the set temperatures in both ovens separately. Please see the image provided below that is from page 8 of the owner’s manual.

Thank you, that's helpful. We didn't know you could do that. One problem though...I checked the calibration and it shows them both at "0". So in testing it out we raised the temp as instructed in the provided picture but the "Broil" button does not lower it back down, so now the calibration is stuck high. Both ovens can be calibrated up as described in but not down. Any advice would be very much appreciated as now the ovens are off calibration. The lower oven which was just fine is now too hot and we can't get it to come back down. Please help. :(

Hello Will. The specific directions for adjusting that offset on your model of KitchenAid oven (KEBS277YAL-4) is shown in the image below. To lower the offset (or zero it out), follow the directions shown below. Press and hold the BAKE button until it goes up past 35 degrees then the offset will return to zero. You can then lower the offset by pressing the BAKE button. Don't forget to press the Start/Enter button to enter and save the adjustment. If you need more help, let us know.

According to your reply to that link for a previous answer that James posted in the above response, you adjusted the temperature using the offset on the control. I answered your question about lowering the offset on that thread. I provided that procedure for your model of oven in the image below as well. This should help you adjust the temperature using that feature. That may resolve your problem. If you need more assistance, reply with additional details and we will assist you further.
