Question and Answers

Q:

kitchenaid range not turning off/ unresponsive

A:

Thank you for your question. I understand your concern if the appliance will not turn off. The model number provided is for a Kitchenaid double oven.  If the question is for a range, please reply with the range model number. If you meant oven, this model has a thermal fuse located at the back of the oven that should shut the elements off if the temperature at the back of the oven exceeds component limits. The fuse should be replaced if non functioning. Shut off the breaker to reset control, then restore power.  If the issue returns, shut off breaker and schedule service.  You can schedule at Sears Home Services. This may be the fuse or the control.  If further help is needed, please reply.  Thank you for using Manage My Life.

Why does the stainless steel door sound tinny and rattle on new wall oven?

A:

I understand how it can be disappointing when a new appliance not sounding the way it should. While you are waiting for a detailed reply from an expert I have done some research on your model and have located the owners manual to your appliance, which I have provided below. I would also recommend contacting the retail store which the appliance was purchased in regards to the issue. Hope this helps!

A:

Thank you for submitting your question. I show that the out side of the door is a stainless steel but the interior and the rest of the door assembly is melt. What you're feeling on the outside of the door is a thin stainless steel plate. If you're dissatisfied with the oven and would like something more sturdier, I recommend contacting our delivery or store team for a replacement. Thank you for choosing Manage My Life.
