Hi,

Thanks for contacting  ManageMyLife. I understand how frustrating it is having trouble with your appliance.

Here is a way to jump into defrost and if that does not work the timer can be turned to defrost manually.

MANUAL INITIATION, METHOD 1 (this is the easiest, most reliable method)

Disconnect power to unit for at least 30 seconds

-Turn OFF thermostat

-Reconnect power to unit

MANUAL INITIATION, METHOD 2 (only if unit can't be pulled out from wall)

-Turn OFF thermostat for 15 seconds

-Turn ON thermostat for 5 seconds

-Turn OFF thermostat for 15 seconds

-Turn ON thermostat for 5 seconds

-Turn OFF thermostat for 15 seconds

-Turn ON thermostat for 5 seconds

Please feel free to let me know if you need further assistance. We are always here to help.
