Thank you for your question. I know it can be disappointing when both the dispenser and icemaker stop working. No, this has not been an issue. Usually when this type of problem occurs, the problem will be with the water valve. If you can hear a humming sound from the back of the unit when the dispenser is activated, it means the valve # 67005154 is being energized. Now, it could be low water pressure or the filter could be clogged but it�s not as likely. A good check for the filter will be to take the filter out and then activated the dispenser. If water does flow now, it will indicate the filter # 4396395 is clogged and will need to be replaced.
