clothes washer no water flow

A:

The problem with the washer can be very frustrating. I did some research on your model number but was not able to find a solution. Your expert will be able to help answer your question. It may take two business days. I added a link to Sears Home Services in case you would like to take that route.

Thanks for contacting ManageMyLife.com. I understand how frustrating it is having trouble with your washer not filling with water. We are here to help. I recommend turning off the water supply to the washer and remove both fill hoses. Next, clean the screens in the mixing valve. Now install the fill hoses. Also, make sure there is no kink in the fill hoses. Try the washer to see if the problem is solved. If the problem is still exists, unplug the washer. Next, remove the cabinet as show on the image below. Now plug the washer back in and select a cycle. I recommend measuring for 120 vac with a multimeter at the mixing valve. If the voltage is present but no water, the valve is not opening. The mixing valve needs to be replaced. However, if the voltage is zero, check the wire harness and water level switch. One of those 2 parts is bad or a bad wire connection. The chances of 2 timers with the same problem is rare. I hope this helps.
