Thank you for your question.

I can understand wanting to be able to cook in the normal amount of time.

Gas appliances are inherently dangerous to service because of the possibility of gas leaks, so we recommend that you have a certified gas technician check out your range and check for leaks when done.

It sounds like the gas flow had diminished somehow.

If this is a Natural gas range you could have the gas company check the gas pressure. But if none of the other gas appliances in the home are having this problem it sounds like the ranges pressure regulator may be causing the problem if all the burners are slow and the oven is also slow in heating up.

If this range is operating on LP then did this happen when the tank was filled.

The regulator has an over pressure lock down mode and it may have done this and needs the air purged and pressure bled off.

I would suggest turning the gas supply valve off to the range and lighting all the burners on the range and let them go out and let sit for at least 10 minutes to get the regulator out of lock out mode.

Then close all the top gas burners valves and turn the gas supply back on and see if it improves.

If it does not you may have to have the pressure regulator replaced on the range.

If you decide that you need to replace the pressure regulator here is the part number: WB19K27 and you can purchase it from: Sears Parts Direct .

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

I hope this will help.
