If the microwave fans and lights are all working then most likely the door switch and fuse are okay.

The most likely problem is with the magnetron or transformer. Each would require a technician to check and repair.

Microwaves do not make good do-it-yourself projects.

Internal capacitors can retain a lethal electrical charge even when the microwave is unplugged.

I recommend calling a service technician to repair this type of problem.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .
