Q:

Charcoal Filter insallation JV565H1BB Ge Range hood

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for being a valued member.

Based upon the model number of the GE range hood of JV565H1BB, I see that there are the grease filters (part WB02X11012), and the charcoal filters (part WB02X10708). The part that you mention of WB02X11001 has since been changed to the new part number I've mentioned above for the charcoal filter.

They are indeed the correct filters for the range hood if you plan to recirculate the air. They are not the OEM original filters, so having a 1/2" overlap could be possible. That wouldn't be a big issue as long as the grease filters fit into place. However, you do have the correct part number for the filter, and I could not see any other option available other than the grease filters themselves.

I hope this helps and thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com. We appreciate your business.

Josh, Thank you. I did not put everything in first email. I do have a recirculating system unfortunately. There are two charcoal filters from on Sears site. One is $84, the other $11. The less expensive is what I have . I can fit them above the grease filter and they rest there with the overlap in the middle I mentioned. I assume when fan is on they will get sucked up and not sure if they will rattle or other. The other charcoal filters say they have clips to attache to the grease filter I assume. Is there anything else that would cause the price to be so different? Thank you for your time.
