Thank you for your question.

I am sorry you are having a problem with the saw. I see that this model has a few different switches listed. I recommend verifying that you have the correct switch. The image below will aid in verifying the switch and also contains the wiring diagram.

I hope this is helpful. Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Mark, Do you happen to have a higher resolution image of the wiring diagram for the 6502066 switch? If i zoom in on the one you provided, it gets all pixely, and I cannot read the small print. Thanks ahead of time.

Richard, check out the last page of this: http://www.toolpartsdirect.com/manuals/pdf/repair/makita/jr3030t.pdf However, I still can't quite figure out how to wire my switch with this. Hot and neutral wires, no problem, but not sure about the inner leads.... Cheers, Dan

Daniel, I am sorry you are having a problem wiring the switch. If your model only has 2 wires coming from the motor one connects to the M1 terminal and the other to the M2 terminal. If your model has four wires, you have to trace the wires going to the condenser. One wire from the condenser connects to the C1 and the other from the condenser connects to the C2 terminal. Please let me know if you need further assistance. Thank you Mark.

Mark, that is it! Exactly what I needed to know! Thanks so much! Got that connected and this sawzall is back in business! My dad gave this to me and I think it is about 25 years old at least. Finally the switch gave out, but other than that it is still going strong. Thanks for saving the day! Dan

Daniel, the pdf is perfect and is very legible. Thanks for this. I wanted to confirm that the dashed line coming in from power supply (wall) is the white wire - it is connected to the 2 terminal on the diagram.

Richard, I took the dashed line as the white/neutral wire (and, well, that worked!). Connected to terminal 2 - yep.
