I have a jen-air cooktop range #JES9900BAB. & I want to know why the range keeps getting lock & unlocked. Why the part that locks the door is making a clicking

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

Based on your symptom and details I suspect a faulty door latch assembly. The door latch assembly has a switch that monitors the position of the door latch so it knows when to stop running. It could have a loose or broken wire in the door latch circuit or a faulty control board but not very likely. Replacing the door latch assembly will likely resolve the problem. The latch assembly #74010819 for Jenn Air range model JES9900BAB can be ordered from Sears Parts Direct.

If you feel confident in removing and replacing the door lock assembly I added an image below with the procedure.
