Maintop removal:
1. Disconnect power
2. Remove cooktop from installation position and place face down on protected surface.
3. REmove screws securing main tip to burner box bottom.
4. Remove screws securing control panel box and conduit mounting plate to burner box assembly.
5. Remove main top.
6. Reverse instructions to reassemble.

Shut off the circuit breaker for the cook top. You will need to reverse the installation instructions to remove that cook top from the counter

I checked our technical information for that cook top. We don't have an illustrated procedure for that repair. I can give you general directions that should help you replace that component. Shut off the circuit breaker for the cook top. You will need to reverse the installation instructions to remove that cook top from the counter. Here is a link for that installation guide in case you need it: Installation Instructions . Once you remove that cook top, you will need to remove the knobs from the burner switch and then remove the burner box to access and replace that component. There should be screws around the sides of the burner box that secure it to the cook top.

This will be a challenging repair on this type of cook top. If you are not certain that you can safely replace that component using the general directions provided above, I recommend that you have a service technician replace that switch.
