Q:

Jenn Aire JDB1255AWS1 leaking inlet filler

A:

The leak coming form the dishwasher can be very concerning. I did some research but was not able to find an answer to why it is leaking. Your expert will be able to help give you a detailed answer. It may take 24-48 hours. I did add a link below if you would like to setup service.

I know that it can be very frustrating to have issues with your dishwasher. I did some research on this model and found that the inlet is one piece, so it does not list any information an additional seals. It is not recommend that you use any type of sealant on this. This is done at the factory level, so we would not have any information on it. If the inlet is leaking than you would need to replace the whole part. This is part number 99003028 and you can get if from this link: Sears Parts Direct . I hope this helps. If you need further assistance, please reply to this thread. Thank you for using Manage My Life.

Thank you very much. You can buy a seal for the inlet (part 99002150) so I'm not sure if it is that or the inlet itself. We applied a bead of silicone and it has stopped leaking but we will look into replacing the inlet. Thank you again.
