Q:

No lights on console on my Image 10.0model #IMTL39520 IMTL39520

A:

Thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com, and for being a valued member.

I am sorry to hear of the issue you’re having with the treadmill. I know how frustrating issues like this are to have.

See if you can locate where the harness connects to the console and check the connection there. Also, remove the motor hood and check the harness connection there as well.

This problem is most likely going to be with the console assembly based on what I've seen in the past. With the console not lighting up at all, it more than likely indicates a failure within the electronics, which are being sold as a complete console. With the motor control needing to be replaced and the console, it sounds like there was a power surge to the unit, which may have consequently fried the electronics. I have linked the console below in case it’s needed.

I hope this helps, and thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com. We appreciate your business.

Q:

What's wrong with my image 10.0 motor?

A:

It is important the treadmill stay at a set speed to ensure the person using the machine is not caught off guard. I can see the concern this would cause. I found a similar quesion for an Image 6.0 with an expert post that may help while you wait for the expert answer for your model. If you would feel more comfortable having an expert diagnose and make repairs, an option is to visit Sears Home Services and use the scheduler. I attached both links below. I have attached the calibration procedure for this unit. Try to run it through the speed calibration and see if anything changes. If it does not, the problem will likely be with the controller board.

If you have any further questions, you can feel free to ask them here on this thread.

Q:

Why did my Proform Image 10.0 treadmill stop working?

A:

According to your symptoms, if the console is getting power but you are getting no output from it then that would be the failed component. I provided additional technical information in the images below. The first image has a troubleshooting chart. If the console is getting the 8 - 12 VDC but is not providing any output then it is likely the failed component.

NOTE: The information below is intended for technicians. Use extreme care if you use this information and conduct live voltage checks. Live voltage checks can be dangerous. Do not contact live wire contacts when checking voltage.

This additional information should help you diagnose and repair your treadmill problem. If you need more help, resubmit your question with additional details.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .
